Xerox® Scanning App for OnBase has the ability to connect to Hyland OnBase on-premise servers. To do so:
- Ensure that your Hyland OnBase server API can be accessed externally, which will allow Scanning App for OnBase’s services to connect to your on-prem instance.
- When installing Scanning App for OnBase, you’ll be prompted to enter your Hyland OnBase application server URL. This should end with .asmx and may include a custom port. App Gallery Configuration will also ask for the Hyland OnBase data source, license name, and SNMP community string of the Xerox device you’re installing the app on.
- When installation is complete, opening the app on a device will take you to the login screen. Enter the username and password for your on-prem instance of Hyland OnBase and select OK.
